拜Stocks Widget實在太方便所賜，昨日本來只不過想查一查字典，見到港圓兌日圓近乎三個月低位(0.0788)，手痕第一次用e-banking兌咗HK$1000。估唔到今日又升返上0.080（唔通好多人跟我買？？），賺咗!!

雖然其實相差好少（我又唔係兌得多）不過都幾有滿足感。我諗我會繼續得閒就入吓Yen，至少下次滑雪食飯都平啲都好啦！:)
人哋摩底一摩幾十萬，我就摩得兩蚊！

Fix Unit Converter Problem

If you have the habit of using the default Unit Converter widget like me. And if you have your Safari upgrade to 4.0 beta. You would find similar unrealistic exchange rate (for the market now who knows!), don’t be shocked. It’s a reported problem.

Following this hint from macosxhint.com, its initiative is to change the order of currency menu, but it can fix this problem as well.

今天收一個非常好用的 widget – Sing that iTune! 之前試過很多老外寫的歌詞、album art 搜尋widget，對著中文歌曲可說一點也不管用，這是第一個可找到歌詞的 widget 還幫你寫入歌裡，真贊!

It has been long time that I recommended any widget. Recently I checked the version of any updated widget. Here is one called PEMDAS, I like the interface changed in version 1.1. I found I prefer to type the whole formula all the time instead of press the keys in Calculator or similar application. It’s so simple! You can even use ANS to take the next step of calculation. Also it will auto cache the result of each step! I’m sure science student would love it the most! Though, it provides scientific functions but I think housewife would like it as well. It’s easy to use.

Haven’t talked about cool widget for long time. Here is one, Callwave! I have tried to send SMS to my friend in US, it works!
But too bad he said I spent him US$0.5! You can select contact from your address book.

Some mac uses don’t get used to Spotlight and Dashboard. For me, I started my Mac life from Tiger, I do feel their are very handy to improve the efficiency of my work.

One handy widget that I have to mention is Capture. Even you don’t always press F12, but it’s worth to put it your Dashboard. You’ll definitely find it useful! I always capture my blogging image by using it!

It doesn’t only provide full sceen (command+shift+3) or selected area capture (command+shift+4) that all mac users should know well. But it lets you capture an application window or even a widget!. Furthermore, you can select output file type, location and quality!!!

And there’re some mini game widgets by VanillaSoap Design also. For frequent Dashboard users, you should take a look.
