JSON vs XML

As you know in AJAX world, XML is always a common data structure to carry data in response. However, would feel XML is considerly too many overhead characters, complex and consume too much resource to parse. There is a better lightweight alternative on such data representation called JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) may worth to take a look.

Have you ever tried to tidy up your bookmarks and contacts in long holiday? I found my Gmail captured too many unknown contacts. So I tried to remove all of them and imported from my Address Book. However, I found that Gmail doesn’t recognize vCard format which seems the only export format in Address Book. So I tried to look for any way that I can do so. One is installing ThunderBird from Mozilla, another is to do the convertion from web site. If you don’t have security worry, you can try this site, it’s so handy.
