So many friends got their Wii, but I think not all of them tried to go through every corner of it. You may miss the REAL fun of Mii, which can transfer your Mii faces to your friends’ consoles. 
Let me quote the instructions from Connect Mii, how to add friends to your Wii
This is how to add friends to your Wii so your Mii’s can mingle and go to the parade (screenshots/video coming soon):
- Turn on Wii
- Create a message
- Go to the Address Book
- Register
- Click the Wii icon
- Enter your friends codes here into your Address Book!
- PLEASE CHECK YOUR WII-MAIL EVERY DAY, IN ORDER TO VERIFY AND CONFIRM ‘FRIEND’ REQUESTS FROM OTHER PEOPLE. IF YOU DON’T CONFIRM THEIR REQUESTS, BY RESPONDING, THEN OTHER PEOPLE WON’T BE ABLE TO ADD YOU TO THEIR OWN FRIEND LISTS. TO VERIFY A ‘FRIEND’ REQUEST, YOU MUST RESPOND TO IT AND SEND A RETURN WII-MAIL.
Now as long as your Mii’s are set to Mingle you can have them go to other people’s Wii’s.
