What is Weblog?

I just knew what’s Weblog from a magazine today. I thought it’s a server program that I can install in my server to replace my gallery. But I was wrong, it’s a common term of web service. People may just subscribe and publish their journal or share whatever they want. Is it correct? I’m not sure 
But it’s good. Then I don’t have to take care of my internet connection and machine, haha! Let me think what can I do here

Buddy, you are correct. The technical aspect of “blogging” is to publish via the webservice interface, which they call the Blogger API which is adhere to the XML-RPC standard or the newer standard Atom API. But I have yet to be able in using the Atom API. Can’t wait to see what U will put up to your blog.
